Great stay! Breakfast is better then your average Continental breakfast!
1st visit to Charleston, SC for a 3-day Valentine's Day weekend and happy to report my stay at this hotel was great! The room was clean & they came to clean it every day, plenty of toiletries (they'll give you more at the front desk if you ask), was mostly quiet, about a 15-minute drive to the heart of Charleston's French Quarter & Battery area & the breakfast was a money saver when vacationing on a budget. Speaking of breakfast, breakfast either consisted of Scrambled Eggs or Egg & Cheese omelets & some kind of meat, such as Turkey or Pork sausages plus plenty of breads, cereals, fruits & do-it-yourself waffles or Pancakes. Much better then most hotel breakfasts! My lone complaint is I had some older neighbors placed next door the last night of my stay that decided to place 2 chairs right between our doors & talk very LOUDLY til 1am. Maybe not the hotels fault, but they should make some kind of rules as I saw a few folks do the same around the hotel that same night. A little strange.

Bogus charge never refunded
Accommodations were fine, but whoever is in charged of billing should be fired. They took my credit card for incidentals (paid for the room through booking.com) They said they were putting a $60 hold, and days after we checked out my card was charged $137. When I called to ask why they were charging me they asked if I was there to park and go on a cruise. I told them no, I had stayed in their hotel for 3 nights. I had evacuated FL because of Hurricane Milton. They said they would reverse the charge, but they did not. I contacted them multiple times because the refund did not go through. They never reversed the charge.

Would Stay Here Again
The staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. The room smelled a little musty when I first arrived but I was not surprised given how humid the Charleston area is and I did not notice it after a while. The WiFi seemed to be pretty decent. The bed was surprisingly comfortable as were the pillows - more so than many other higher level properties I have stayed at. I slept very well. The breakfast was decent and always adds value. I was not there long enough to be able to rate everything. I was impressed enough that I would definitely consider staying here again and will also take another look at Best Western properties for future stays.

Unworthy of the Best Western labeled; to be avoided at all cost
This facility is unworthy of the Best Western label. It is outdated, dirty, and service is below average. There is green, moss growing on the windows, the armchairs are worn, fabric, and varnish, the bathroom layout and design date back to the 60s To be avoided at all cost.

A Great Place to Stay When Visiting Charleston
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Charleston Inn. Located just 10 minutes from all the tourist attractions in Charleston, the motel has a beautiful pool that makes you think you are at a resort. They offer a full hot breakfast with many choices. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. The lady who checked us in was very nice and was able to get us a downstairs room even though we made our reservation shortly before arrival. There are many local restaurants to choose from just a few minutes from the motel. We would absolutely stay there again.
