We had an amazing time in MX at the Barcelo Maya Palace. Food, service, beach and pools were wonderful. I highly recommend Aurora with Guest Services (pictured below) to assist with any bookings at the hotel such as massage, meal reservations, and anything resort related. Aurora was always ready with her gentle smile and helpful attitude. All the pool bartenders were amazing, and I would especially like to recognize Leandro. He was a true mixologist creating special shots and surprises. My only disappointment was with Margarita the American Airlines vacation representative. She was unresponsive to my text messages regarding our return trip to the airport, and only contacted individuals from our group if she thought we’d book an outside event through her.

Excellent resort
Beautiful, affordable all inclusive resort. You have so many choices for restaurants, bars, activities, and pools that there is no way you will be hungry or bored ever. Beside the check in process ( than can be easy or nightmare, depends on the day and time of the day) everything is excellent.

It was terrible because the food was either fake or not edible if your handicapped or have troubles physically I wouldn’t recommend this stay and there is lots of space for walking which isn’t good for anyone handicapped or physically troubled

Pool bar was horrible. Beds were tiny. Service was great. I wouldn’t pick this resort to come back to with a family of young kids.

Never again
Impossible to eat at a la carte restaurants and buffet is awful. Here now to deal with Hotel hosting a wedding that blasted horrible music until 11 pm keeping my kids awake and rendering balcony useless. No service to the room for days - had to use pool towels to shower and then got charged for taking pool towels… calling premium service and sent desk didn’t help at all. Hoping this real time review does!
