Jan 10, 2025Mediocre food, check in issues and surly front desk statt
We stayed as a family of 9, requesting 2 sets of connected rooms six months in advance. Only two rooms were connected , I showed the desk clerk the copies of the messages sent from the resort to our TA They said they couldn’t do anything and didn’t seen to know that this was prearranged. We were given separate rooms and told to check back in in the morning. There was no apology for messing this up. The next morning we went to the desk and they had arranged connecting rooms. It would not be ready until 3:30PM and we were told that we had to be out of their room my 11AM or we would be charged an extra day in a threatening voice. Again no apology. Rather than being near to each other as we also requested that, each set of rooms was in a separate building, including one set in a building on the opposite side of the resort from the other two! The buffet food was mediocre and restaurant reservations all but impossible to get. We were promised 4 reservations, but only got one. All in all a terrible experience and we will never go there again.

In April 2024, we visited this resort and stayed in the premium suites—it was absolutely worth it. We’re thrilled to be returning this April, a bit earlier in the month, and can’t wait to experience it all again. Honestly, even without the premium option, we’d still have an amazing time because the resort is simply fantastic. The staff are wonderful, the beach is stunning, the pool is gorgeous, and everything is impeccably clean. The food was outstanding, too. This time, we’re hoping to catch some evening entertainment, as we missed out on it during our last visit.

Wonderful resort. great accommodation and food. 30 minute drive from nearest town, so difficult to shop or have dinner in Playa del Carmen

Nice place
Everything is perfect except the beach - the sunbeds are totally not enough. You have to go until 8 a.m., otherwise you can't find free sunbeds. Most of them are reserved with the towels and are used only at the afternoon. The stuff at the bars are not enough. One person per bar makes big queues.

Looks are deceiving!
The facility is beautiful. The service is not. Specifically stayed at the beach property. Had multiple issues during our stay beginning at check-in. This facility falls very short of the service and benefit they promise. Not equipped to service large number of people, no availability for the food service unless you are going to eat at the buffets. Spend your money elsewhere for better quality of service.
