Love Hote Ziva!
Exceeded every expectation. Service was incredible. Food was great. Drinks were incredible. Everyone was so nice. We got a swim up room and would never do it any other way. Also loved that it was just 15 min from the airport. We never left the resort because everything we needed was there.

Great beach, food, staff, activities. Perfect for multi-gen families
We were pleasantly surprised by our first trip to Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. Reasons: 1) food was better quality and variety than we had anticipated both a la carte and buffet; 2) all the staff had a great attitude of warmth and friendliness all while working hard to anticipate our needs; 3) our pre-teen/teen age kids had as much fun as we their parents did due to activities and people; 4) the beach is super long and more walkable than other parts of Cabos I’ve stayed; 5) easy quick (5-10 mins) uber ride to town of San Jose to see and taste a little bit of “real Mexico”. Keep in mind: There are a good mix of sunny and shady lounge chairs near the pools but they fill up quickly with people saving them by 9AM (at least during winter holidays). There is a lot of fun music and loud speaker activity a good part of the day (11-4ish) so don’t expect total peace and quiet unless you take a beach walk or find respite in your room with the AC fan running. Overall: We’d visit again and would bring grandparents next time.

Best mojitos in Cabo
Alfredo in the lobby bar makes the absolutely best mojitos in Cabo. Excellent service, brilliant bar tender. Thank you Alfredo! @Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos was a very enjoyable destination for the whole family. Great room, fantastic views and lots of fun!

great stay!
very nice hotel. great service, beautiful beach access, sweet staff. i had heard multiple negative reviews about construction noise, but didn't hear anything at all during my stay. food was pretty decent (nothing amazing, but given the volume of free options, can't complain)

Very typical big, loud Cabo resort. Fine if that is your thing!
As advertised. The Hyatt Ziva is a pretty standard all-inclusive resort in Mexico. If you do not mind loud music and activities at the pool (or if you want them!), you'll like it there! We were there during abusy week and tehy ran out of chairs at the pool /beach, which I thought was rather inexcusable. Also, everyone saves chairs in teh morning, making finding one a bit tricky at times. Again, pretty standard at these resorts. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is very good. And as you may know, swimming the ocean is prohibited on this beach. You have to go to go to other locations if you want to get in the water. We knew that, so was not a big deal for us.
