Just returned from Barcelo bavaro palace. First off the resort is absolutely beautiful and super clean. There is so much there . All Staff was great during our whole trip. The thing that ruined it was there is this terrible terrible smell, not sure what it is, but seemed to be mainly around the restaurant areas. It was to the point I was gagging out loud the whole Trip ( very embarrassing) and could barely eat anything there since the smell was mainly confined around the restaurants. If they could get the smell under control it would be an amazing resort. But for now is a definite no in the future

Your bartender Darleny Martiny by the adult side was very perfessional and polite server. She was very kind, helpful, intelligent, and patiently helping us with variety of drinks selections. Thanks to her, we will visit again sometime soon.

Love it!
Jose Roja, Joe Guermo, and Angel Arache did a great job! They are awesome bartenders and treated us so well. Love barcelo! This hotel does a great job catering to the needs of all customers and their drinks + food are high quality. Great place for a college spring break.

Above and beyond!!
Our stay was at Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort(Adult Side). Although all of the staff was friendly, helpful and pleasant, one particular person stands out and that is one of the bartenders Jose Rajas! He was absolutely fantastic! He serviced us every evening we were there, always smiling, pleasant, friendly and always remembered our drinks! When we go back, and we will go back because the trip was phenomenal! We really hope to see Jose again! He was extremely pleasant to be around! Thank you Jose for your part in making our vacation a memorable one!

Great experience! Great professionalism from Esteban from the beach bar,Rafael Pouriet, Clakson Miller, Jonny Dominguez and Miguel from the buffet. Thank you all for a great service. Thank you for the staff from cleaning Antonia and the reception staff. Amazing experience. The only thing the food needs a bit more diversity. Thank you
