From the moment you walk in the lobby every employee greeted you and welcomed you to the hotel. Upon checking in the front desk staff explained everything to you from what each card was for to the hours of operation for pool and restaurants. My room was on same floor as lobby which meant convenient location to everything. My room was spacious and very clean and refrigerator stocked with sodas and beer which was restocked daily. Housekeeping was great if you needed anything extra they would comply. Room service was not included in your room rate but majority of all inclusive hotels room service is not included. I ordered room service which was fast and the food was hot and delivered with a smile. Pool area was very clean and you had employees maintaining it consistently to keep it clean. They had music playing as well as activities for both young and old. I enjoyed my stay and the hospitality that came with it. I recommend staying here.

Jorman -Cocktail Waiter Pool&Beach
The most amazing waiter! Super friendly and attentive! Def going to miss aruba and Barcelo. Jorman went above and beyond the entire trip. every time we turned he was there with another drink. Couldn’t recommend a better place to stay due to these awesome waiters!

There was an issue with a strong chemical smell that left my husband and I with a headache during our stay. No one could give us any answer to what was happening because no one seemed to know about the issue. The maintenance man who didn't even come into the room because the smell was so strong and obvious called someone to alert of the issue. The receptionist that handled the room change was not very understanding or nice, customer service was awful. We stayed in the room (balcony as we were worried about the smell) with no one contacting us as we were waiting for the call for the room change. After about half an hour we went to the reception ourselves to ask about our room change. As a woman of child bearing age I worry about these things and the repurcusions it can have on my health and my body.

Pool bar Barcelo the place to be
The pool bar at the Barcelo is second to none. This is 100% because of the bartenders like Robert and Omar who make it so enjoyable. They are incredible bartenders and hosts. I can’t picture Aruba without them. It is the place to be. Especially when in the pool

Koyo restaurant
I recently went to Barcelo resorts in Aruba. I ate at Koyo restaurant to celebrate my birthday and i definitely enjoyed myself. My waiter Joson was great!!! He made sure I enjoyed my time there celebrating my birthday. The food was outstanding as well. We ordered so much food and there was no disappointment.
