I had the pleasure of speaking with Rene Stauffer, Senior Reservations Sales Agent regarding a family vacation at the end of June 2025. She was very helpful and gave great suggestions on rooms and things to do at the hotel and surrounding Mission Bay area. Our family is very excited and looking forward to our vacation.

The Bahia and Diante are the best!
We have been coming to the Bahia now for 30 plus years so obviously we love everything about it! For about the past 5 years or more I have had the pleasure of getting to speak to Diante every year when I call to book our rooms. I get very excited to talk with him every year… its like we are old friends now. He is such a pleasure and helpful with everything we need every year! Thank you Diante for always being so wonderful and getting me exicted about our upcoming trip. Talk to you next year!

Helpful and pleasant staff
Diante gave me such wonderful customer service!! Thank you!! I was having a problem with my reservation and he quickly and skillfully helped me. I love your hotel as I have stayed here before. It is so beautiful and clean and such friendly staff.

Majestic rejuvenating
My husband and I went to the Bahia on our honeymoon 20 years ago. We decided to go back to celebrate. We had a car accident 2 days before we were supposed to leave in August and the manager, Stefan Peroutka went above and beyond to help us reschedule our trip. We went this past week 2/17-2/22 and the staff exceeded all expectations and the hotel was just as beautiful as ever. Tim Patrick (aka Katie 😂)and Jason were so helpful as our concierge. They were so helpful with hotel and sightseeing suggestions and a pleasure to chat with. Jean and Scott were our waiter and waitress when we dined at Dockside, their on site restaurant, and the service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Jean then recommended Ray as a chauffeur. When she said what a great guy he was she was 100% correct! He was reasonably priced and gave my husband and I a mini tour of each area we visited to fill us in on what to see where to eat etc. Martin and Jana at the front desk were so friendly and knowledgeable with any odd or silly questions we had. If we needed to know where a target was, what the seals names are (there is a seal pond on sight with 3 adorable seals!) or needed towels they were on it and with a smile. Their supervisor AJ is so pleasant that it’s not hard to see why the service is exceptional. The hotel is within a mile or less of several very popular attractions like Old Town, pacific beach, Belmont park. Balboa park is about 3 miles away. Amazing restaurants all surrounding the resort as well as on site. There is also a pool, tennis court, hot tub, playground, water sport rentals, several boat tours in the bay. It is a magical and perfect experience.

Great customer service
Renee was amazing, and went above and beyond with helping me book my stay. Excellent customer service! She filled me in on all of the activities that are offered and the fun attractions that are walking distance. I can't wait for our upcoming trip!
