We flew into La romana, it was weird getting fingerprinted at the airport. These people that work at this hotel are so nice, so hard working. They all keep telling you how they all want to make it to Punta Cana, where the “real money is”. It’s terrible to hear, but sadly this isn’t in a super popular area. It is very quiet on this side, perfect for relaxation. We loved the greenery on the beach. The water is murky, a jellyfish did get me but that’s not the hotels fault. Enjoy a nice sunrise on the pier or long walk on the beach which is still beautiful white sand. Sadly, it is eroding, but what can you do. We ate at the don pablo twice, the steak was amazing! Noseeums were terrible, our cleaning lady liked cleaning with the patio doors wide open. we had a ground floor garden room. All of the bugs came in and bit us at night. We caught her doing it the next day and told her please stop we are being eaten alive. I’d kill 30 40 every night wondering how they keep multiplying. Other than that, We had an awesome time, keep an eye out for Harold at the bar!

The best!
Very impressed all around. The food was amazing, fantastic variety and quality at the buffets especially. The beach varies a bit but you've got the whole length of the cove to find your favorite spot. Staff were phenomenal, the entertainment team were lots of fun especially Vanilla Ice and Roberto from Afrika, but you can always chill at the quiet pool if you prefer. Room was spotless, just be aware if yours faces the main lobby you will hear the entertainment at the lobby bar a little but it wraps up around 10:30. I usually just went to the shows myself anyway. Favorite small detail was they beach chairs staying lit up until way late. I loved hanging out on the beach for a couple hours at night to read and listen to the surf, I'm a mosquito magnet but I hardly even bug spray in the evenings. One last thing, remember to check the event calendar at the neighboring bahia resort as well, they have the bigger stage and its just a two minute walk between the lobbeys.

5* All the Way
This is truly a 5* resort. The a la cart restaurants were amazing. Nothing was spared for the breakfast and lunch buffets. The grounds looked like parks and our room was clean and very comfortable. The nightly entertainment on our side, adult only, was truly adult entertainment with singers, electric violin and other musical instruments , that you could dance to, or simply sip a drink and relax . We were in the 55 block on 3 rd floor and it was very quiet. Plan on going back. That was our second time there. Just be aware of anyone selling something. Check reviews before committing . Truly a great place for couples .

Very beautiful design and upkeep. The rooms are pretty and the services are great. I love that 24 hour room service is included. I loved the pools. I had great food. I suggest people enjoy entertainment by Nicki Minaj, Maria, Tinker Bell, Emilia, Vanilla Ice, Roberto, Carlos, and more. The staff was all so great and accommodating. Everyone went above and beyond.

Tropical paradise getaway of a lifetime!
This is a beautiful tropical paradise. Great reception and welcoming staff. The entertainment program is the best I have seen in the resorts!!! Thank you - Nikki and Maria, for organizing and leading amazing beach parties, karaoke evenings, fire dances, ballroom dances, 70's and 80's parties, and so on. This has been a wonderful vacation for us as a couple in the adults-only Luxury Bougainville!!!
