Like the Alps in the US!
You really feel like you're in the Alps at this hotel. It's amazing! Except, you're at the premier skiing destination in the U.S.--Vail! The rooms are large and very comfortable (ours had a fireplace). The staff is exceptional and the location is so central that you won't miss anything! We'll be back frequently!

What a wonderful discovery ...we will come back every year
Highly recommend the Austria Haus. We are a family of 5 on a ski vacation. Location was perfect in the heart of vail village, the hotel staff was very accommodating. Ski locker and availability of slope side ski check was perfect. Team helped with dinner reservations. Breakfast was top notch. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Truly a great experience. Pool and Hot tub after ski and then as a family we would sit by the fire and play games after dinner each night - perfect family time!

An Incredible Experience - 10/10
Our stay at this hotel was so amazing that it deserves to be highlighted in detail. Here’s why: Location: The location is simply perfect! The hotel is right in the heart of the village, close to excellent restaurants, shops, and just a short walk to the ski gondola. Total convenience! Room: The accommodations are extremely comfortable. The bed is excellent, with high-quality sheets and towels, and the room was spotlessly clean. The heated bathroom floor is a wonderful touch, especially in the cold weather. Breakfast: Although described as “continental,” the breakfast goes far beyond that. There’s a wide variety of options: eggs, assorted cheeses, ham, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, and waffles made to order, with several delicious toppings, including fresh berries. Hospitality: We can’t fail to mention Paul, the resident manager. He’s always present in the hotel’s social areas and makes all the difference with his hospitality and kindness. Exceptional service! In summary, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to everyone. Rating: 10/10! Tatiana e Rodrigo

Austria Haus in Vail is Excellent
The staff is wonderful. The room was very spacious, w heated floors in the large WC. Cozy, charming, super clean. Excellent location IN VAIL VILLIAGE. Walk to Gondola One. We were there for my husband's bday and when the staff learned this they sent a bottle of champagne and to the room. Really a rare and beautiful gesture. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

Great Visit to Austria Haus
We had a wonderful five nights at the Austria Haus in Vail. The location of the hotel is perfect, as everything is within walking distance and if you don’t feel like walking 15 minutes to Lionshead Village, the bus stops right next to the hotel. This is not a typical large Hyatt hotel, but a smaller, cuter and cozier hotel. Breakfast is included, and while we usually find hotel breakfasts just average at best, but this was way better and enjoyable. We never even looked for a breakfast alternative. The rooms are nice and clean, and the housekeeping did a fine job. Everyone at the front desk was very accommodating and nice. Of special note is the concierge staff who went out of their way before and during our visit to be so helpful. We will definitely go back on our next visit to Vail village.
