Loved it! Please try to keep it
Five stars for this wonderful paradise, (soon to be demolished!!)..we absolutely Loved it. The pathways leading to thatched units through lush tropical plants and palms, the natural gardens..One of the last of the truly unique and interesting resorts, is scheduled to be bulldozed, replaced by the charmless mega structure, usual along the beach. We are hoping they reconsider, perhaps find cost-cutting solutions such as low maintenance roof replacement etc. Hot shower consistency could be improved, but it seemed minor with everything else that was available. If one wants to be part of the entertainment and disco, ask for a unit near the main building. If one wants serenity and quiet ask for one closer to the beach. The resort is right on the ocean, lounge chairs set up in the shade of palms, turquoise water and a beautiful stretch of white sand, good food, two pools, native birds and small quiet animals. All the staff were terrific and helpful, the beach pristine, (which reflects the staff’s care, unlike the mega complexes beside us with discarded plastic cups blowing to the water). There was a feeling of privacy with a perfect balance of fun. The food was delicious and plentiful. If not turned into a cookie cutter hotel complex, it’s a place I would recommend to friends, and I would plan to return there every year. It’s one of the truly beautiful carefully tended unspoiled spots and I felt fortunate to experience it.

Very clean and friendly! Definitely recommend.
We spent our honeymoon here and the service was great, food was tasty (the xmas dinner was beyond amazing!!!) and the beach was beautiful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good time in Mexico. It is a kid oriented resort, however, so if you don't want to be surrounded by children, it may not be for you.

Good place for family, Both Allegro Playacar and Cozumel are great but would recommend staying at the Cozumel Allegro
clean rooms and attentive staff will make your stay the greatest experience, recommended. Kids would like the slides at cozumel.

Enjoy 3 colour tortilla chips and more close to local Mexican dish
Hotel needs doing refurbishment. Food they provide is good, a bit of job booking restaurant for dinner. People are so friendly and good service. Sport team is not as organised a lot, would be appreciated if they do more. Enjoyed the area, close to shopping mall which is walking distance market too.

Christmas week.
Besides the outdated rooms and average grade of food flavor everything was excellent. Well only one night for Christmas eve they served an excellent cuisine. Also reservation must be made in person for the specialty restaurant every morning. Waited in line twenty minutes about 9am . just to find out they were fully booked that evening. Than we wanted to make a reservation for the next day since we already wanted time for waiting. We were told we had to get back in line next morning for the next days evening speciality restaurant. I suggest they improve this policy. Guests should be able to make reservations on line , on a app or make a phone call . Not needing to wait in line every morning. all staff was great, pools and beach was great. Service was great. The food was much much better by the front pool.
