    Truly Exceptional in every way!

We just returned from a one week stay as a family of 16. I was completely blown away by this resort. Having been to Turks previously, I knew to expect a pristine beach, but the cleanliness of the resort, the truly spectacular food, and the excellent service exceeded all of my expectations. The newly renovated suites are very well appointed, and our room was very comfortable for two adults and two children. The food was the best I have encountered at any all inclusive by FAR. We did not have one meal that I would say was less than excellent. The true standout was the Jerk chicken by the beach, but some nice touches were the excellent steaks as well as the healthy smoothies. As I mentioned, we were a large group, but the hotel was able to accommodate us very well. This can be difficult, so we expected some hiccups, but the hotel really came through. The only area of opportunity was the shuttle service - because we were such a large group, we weren’t able to fit in one shuttle and we often had to squeeze in together. The shuttle only runs once every hour and I believe together the shuttles only accommodate about 24 people, so more frequent shuttles with larger vehicles would be my recommendation. I would return to this property without question, and our entire group is so thankful to all the staff at the resort for making this very special trip so memorable for us!

Good Choice for All Inclusive in Grace Bay

Just returned from a quick 5-day visit to T & C, staying at Alexandra. If you are looking for an all-inclusive resort, this is a good choice. While smaller than the two larger ones on GB it is also less crowded & crazy. We had a beachfront 1BR that was clean and in good shape. Beach is beautiful as many have noted and plenty of seating, however you will need to get out early to grab a front row chair (and it seems some people secure them early and never show up!). Pool was good size for the resort, no problem finding a seat and towels are plentiful at both pool and beach. Fitness center is small but has the basics covered. Breakfast buffet is good with eggs to order station, we dined here every morning. Fish Deck was OK, Black Rock was very good as was Fire & Ice at Blue Haven. Truck Stop was good with a variety, lastly the place by the beach with Caribbean Chicken and Ribs was excellent. We pretty much used the beach bar day and night, with only a couple of visits to the pool bar. Bar tenders are attentive but be sure to tip if you want to be a priority and get good pours. Our room was kept stocked with water, sodas and beer and was kept very tidy by the team. For the most part everyone was friendly and helpful. This is a solid 4-star resort and a good choice if you are visiting T & C.

Amazing trip beautiful water great accommodations

We had a great vacation staying at the Alexandra resort. The food was all good. The drinks were wonderful. I loved that they had a smoothie bar that you could get protein shakes anytime of the day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was smaller than we anticipated, but it was OK because we literally were in there just to sleep. The only negative thing for me was the bed was very hard. Most places we’ve stayed have had a pillow top mattress that was very comfortable, but housekeeping was very accommodating and actually brought me an extra comforter that I folded up and laid on my side of the bed, which made it more tolerable

    GREAT Family Vacation!

We had a fabulous time during our week stay. We stayed in the 4 BR penthouse with are adult children and grandson. I highly recommend the penthouse if you are already renting 4 rooms. To be together in one space made it that much better. The food at the restaurants was excellent. (Fish Deck, Blackwood, and Dragon Orchid) The buffets were average but good. We also took the shuttle to Blue Haven and had dinner at Fire And Ice, which was also excellent! We had no issues with the food. The staff was mostly great. We did encounter a couple of grumpy employees but overall it was very pleasant. We had a photo session with Natalie. She was excellent! She spent the time to get couples pictures along with all of our family pictures and had the patience to get smiles out of our 8 month old grandson. She has a fun personality. We had one disappointment….We booked a glass boat tour through them and later realized we paid 18% more than we would if we booked direct online. Note: taxi’s are expensive. Also, I HIGHLY recommend getting SkyPass at the airport. It saved us a lot of time coming and going. (Think Disney FastPass but at the airport). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the Alexandra!

Lovely resort for couples and families alike!

My husband and I just got back from the Alexandra and we had a wonderful stay! This was our first trip to Turks and we couldn't get over the clear, turquoise water. It seemed unreal! The resort is small but my husband and I were amazed at how it never felt crowded. Even at breakfast at 9am, we never had to wait for a table. We stayed in a one-bedroom garden view (one of the renovated rooms) and it was very comfortable and clean. Bed was very comfortable but the AC unit was loud and turned on and off throughout the night. Because I'm a light sleeper, that was tough, but I often have that problem in hotels. We had a large patio with two lounge chairs and a table for dining. The patio was great because we had easy access to the pool. Chairs at the pool and beach were plentiful and we didn't have trouble finding two together every time we needed them. The staff was wonderful, helpful, and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our food at any restaurants and the servers were lovely and kind. Making dinner reservations was easy. As soon as you arrive, book all of your reservations using the QR codes or call for Blue Haven (although we didn't visit Blue Haven). We didn't have trouble getting in anywhere. We booked all of our reservations for 8pm so that could be why it wasn't hard to get reservations. We loved Black Rock and Dragon Orchid. Fish Deck didn't offer many fish options, aside from salmon and shellfish. I was hoping for more fish offerings but it was still very good. The jerk chicken for lunch is a must. We ate it three days in a row! Walking, jogging, or biking to Grace Bay shopping area is super easy as well. It's about a mile from the resort and there are sidewalks the whole way. Drivers are very respectful of pedestrians and bikers. You can borrow bikes from the resort by signing them out with the front desk. Definitely recommend this so that you can see more of Grace Bay. From reading other reviews, I saw that there were complaints about the service and I couldn't disagree more. If you are patient and respectful of the staff, they are the same to you. It's definitely a slower pace than what we're used to in the States, but that's why we go here, right? We really enjoyed this place!
