Bushkill Falls
Bushkill Falls is known in the Keystone State as the “Niagara Falls of Pennsylvania.” Bushkill Falls is a series of eight unique waterfalls with the pinnacle being a 100-foot waterfall. The park also offers hiking trails, fishing, boating, and fun activities for the entire family await at one of the state’s most well-known scenic attractions. Hidden deep in the Pocono Mountains forest, the falls are accessible via a network of trails and bridges. Mount Airy Casino Resort
Mount Pocono, PA in the Poconos, is home to the Mount Airy Casino Resort. The resort itself sits on the former site of Mount Airy Lodge, which had a somewhat storied and infamous past. The original owner was suspected of having ties to organized crime and turned ownership over to his daughter. Now the resort has 62,000 square feet of casino space with 1,800 slot machines, 70 gaming tables for blackjack roulette, craps, and baccarat, and 188 hotel rooms. Quiet Valley Farm
Historic working farm, Quiet Valley, operates as a living museum. The farm is run by customed employees who explain farm life and family life as was from 1760 to 1913. Located in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, PA, the farm is designated a national historic district. The farm belonged to the Zepper family from 1765 until 1958. It now operates as a farm would have in the 19th century and is called Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm. There are nine buildings on the farm; the main house, smokehouse, ice house, springhouse, fruit drying house, frame wash house, bank barn, storage she, and wagon shed.
